These hints work on the Notes Client only in Rich Text Fields.

To find out if a field is a rich text field using the client, click in it then if a font comes up in the bottom left hand corner you will know it is rich text. Alternatively try and add a file to the field, if you get an error message it is no a rich text field.

On the Notes Client:

Ctrl + B   bolds the selected text.

Ctrl + I    italicises the selected text.

Ctrl + U  underlines the selected text.

Alt + T then C then R turns the selected text red.

Ctrl + K brings up the text properties box.

On the Web client using a Rich Text Applet:

Ctrl + B   bolds the selected text and/or puts the cursor in bold mode.

Ctrl + I   italicisess the selected text and/or puts the cursor in bold mode.

Ctrl + U   underlines the selected text and/or puts the cursor in bold mode.
